The Road Improvement project for Hermantown Road from Highway 2 to Ugstad Road and Old Midway Road, beginning and ending on Midway Road, has begun. The letter outlining the bridge closure on Hermantown Road near Five Corners Road can be found here. Mailboxes were removed on May 9, with gang boxes placed at the intersections of Hermantown Road and Ugstad Road and another at the intersection of Hermantown Road and Old Midway Road to serve residents on either side of the bridge. The locations of the temporary mailboxes are noted in the images below.
The first on-site construction meeting is set for Tuesday, May 14, at 10:30 a.m. and will be held near the intersection of Old Midway Road and Hermantown Road. Meetings are held Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m.

Road Improvement for 2024 is set to include Hermantown Road from Highway 2 to Ugstad Road and Old Midway Road, beginning and ending on Midway Road. A letter was sent in late March of 2023 to invite impacted residents to an initial public information meeting set for April 6, 2023, at 5 p.m. The letter can be found here, and the presentation and meeting can be viewed below. An additional public information meeting was held on August 8, 2023, to provide an update on the design process for the road. Further updates will continue to be added below.
