QUALIFICATIONS FOR VOTERS

To vote in any election in Minnesota, you must be:

  • 18 or more years of age on the day of the election
  • A citizen of the United States
  • A resident of the state for at least 20 days 

* If you have not voted in the last four years, or changed your name or address, you must re-register. This can be done at City Hall in advance of the election, or on Election Day at your precinct.*
