The adoption of an annual budget is one of the most important actions taken by Hermantown’s City Council each year. At the base level, it is a legal document that gives authority to incur obligations and pay expenditures. However, it is more than just numbers and financial data. It relects the priorities, values, principles, goals, and the overarching mission of the City Council, in part, by allocating limited resources among departments. In short, it is intended to further our mission of working together to serve and build our community.
