Hermantown’s Board of Appeals and Adjustments is responsible for hearing and deciding upon administrative appeals and variances. This board also establishes applications, checklists, and procedures to assist in the matters handled by the Board of Appeals and Adjustments. The City Council may delegate additional functions to this board through resolution.

The Board of Appeals and Adjustments is, Michael Boese, James Nelson, Cyndy Reno, Gerald Wallace, and Chris Kibler. City Councilor Brian LeBlanc is the liaison for this board.

The Board of Appeals and Adjustments meets only when there is an application for appeal or adjustment. When there is an application, the board meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 5:00 p.m.
