The City of Hermantown provides this calendar to show not only what is happening at City Hall and in the Governmental Services Building, but also to highlight various community-focused events.

Create a Raingarden Workshop

March 5 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

 A raingarden is a small basin of colorful native plants that add beauty to your yard, habitat for our native bees, butterflies and other pollinators while collecting and infiltrating stormwater runoff from your roof, lawn and driveway before it enters our lakes, rivers and streams. 

This FREE workshop covers step-by-step instructions to help you successfully install a raingarden on your property. Plus, Carlton SWCD has funds available to help offset the costs of plants, compost, mulch, edging and other materials.
