In 2021, the City of Hermantown created a temporary task force to focus on broadband capabilities. From learning about what is and is not serving residents today to exploring future options, the Broadband Task Force is composed of members of the city council, city staff, and several appointed citizens.

Broadband Internet Connectivity Survey

The Broadband Task Force is looking to learn more about the broadband, internet, and connectivity experiences of residents in the City of Hermantown.

Currently, the task force is in an exploratory phase; attempting to determine a broad and accurate picture of resident broadband experiences as possible.

The long-range goal is to help improve people’s experiences, but that begins with a realistic assessment of our city’s current situation. The more surveys that are completed at the link above, the stronger the picture will be of what are the next best steps we can take. You can take the survey multiple times, as your information may vary based on usage, time of day, and other factors.

If you have questions about this survey please contact Joe Wicklund, Hermantown’s Communications & Community Engagement Director, at (218) 729-3600 or by e-mail at [email protected].
